Road to beta: Social CardHouse status update

The table is nearly set for our official beta launch. Over the last few months, we have focused on making Social CardHouse the safest, most private way to coordinate home poker games in California.

What we have locked in

• Privacy by design: Home addresses are never public. Addresses are shown only to host-approved players during the reveal window before game time.
• Panic hide safety: Hosts can instantly remove event visibility and address details for all non-hosts if anything feels off.
• Verified community standards: Social CardHouse is for adults 21+ only, with county-based access controls across California.
• Reliable communications: Critical account and security email delivery is live through Postmark.

Our community stance

Social CardHouse is a safety and scheduling platform for private games. It is not a gambling operator.

• Coordination, not gambling: We do not process payments, rake, or payouts.
• County-first rollout: Discovery is enabled across California counties, with early focus across Southern California, including San Diego, Orange, Riverside, and San Bernardino.
• Reputation signals: Trust-focused signals like Trust Host and Community Steward help players and hosts build confidence before game night.

The final push

Before broader TestFlight and Google Play access, we are finishing the last beta pass:

1. Fine-tuning the mobile experience so flows are fast and clear on every device.
2. Closing final polish bugs to reduce friction in navigation and account flows.
3. Running final guardrail checks for privacy, moderation, and access controls.
