Social CardHouse Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 10, 2026
1) Overview
This Privacy Policy explains how Social CardHouse collects, uses, shares, and protects information during its public-local-play pilot. Social CardHouse is intended for adults age 18 and older.
2) Information we collect
Depending on the feature, we may collect:
- Contact information such as email and, for venue or organizer applications, a contact name.
- Coarse location such as city, ZIP code, or pilot metro. Pilot forms do not request private-home addresses or exact latitude and longitude.
- Game-category interests, experience fit, preferred public venue type, and research-interview interest.
- Venue or organizer information such as organization name, public venue name, event frequency, current calendar tools, and listing-authorization confirmation.
- Account, authentication, support, moderation, and operator-workflow records when those features are enabled.
- Source page, campaign tags, device diagnostics, security logs, and privacy-safe analytics events.
3) How we use information
We use information to:
- Evaluate and operate the Orange County pilot.
- Contact selected research participants, venues, and organizers.
- Plan authorized public venue and event inventory.
- Provide, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the service.
- Prevent abuse, enforce terms, respond to reports, and comply with law.
- Measure aggregate conversion and product reliability without placing direct personal information in analytics events.
4) Analytics
The public marketing site uses Google Analytics 4 only when analytics is enabled. Marketing events are allowlisted and must not include email, phone, raw city or ZIP input, exact address, precise coordinates, full name, authentication tokens, or submission identifiers.
You may use the analytics opt-out control on this site. Browser or device privacy settings may provide additional controls.
5) Service providers and sharing
We may use service providers for hosting, database, authentication, email, analytics, security, and support. They may process information only for the services they provide to Social CardHouse and subject to their applicable agreements.
We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect users or platform integrity, during a business transaction, or with your direction. We do not sell personal information.
6) Public information
Pilot applications are private. If public venue, event, organizer, or Passport features launch, the product will identify which fields are public and provide applicable controls. Passport participation facts are opt-in and are not a safety score.
7) Retention
We retain pilot applications and operational records only as long as reasonably needed for research, pilot operations, security, legal obligations, and abuse prevention. Records may be archived rather than hard-deleted when an audit trail is required. We review retention as the pilot matures.
8) Security
We use access controls, service-only database writes, least-privilege policies, and logging intended to protect pilot data. No system is perfectly secure. Do not submit private-home addresses, government IDs, card collections, or sensitive personal information through pilot forms.
9) Your choices and rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may request access, correction, deletion, or information about how personal information is used. You may also withdraw from research communications.
Send privacy requests to privacy@socialcardhouse.net. We may need to verify the request before acting.
10) Do not sell or share
Social CardHouse does not sell personal information. To submit a request related to sale or sharing, email privacy@socialcardhouse.net with the subject "Do Not Sell or Share".
11) Limit sensitive information use
Pilot forms are designed not to request sensitive identity or private-location information. To ask about limiting sensitive information use, email privacy@socialcardhouse.net with the subject "Limit Sensitive Use".
12) Children
Social CardHouse is not directed to children or teenagers. Do not use the service or submit a pilot application if you are under 18.
13) Changes
We may update this policy as the pilot and its vendors change. The updated date will appear above.
14) Contact
For privacy questions, email privacy@socialcardhouse.net. For general support, email support@socialcardhouse.net.
Analytics opt-out
Social CardHouse uses privacy-safe analytics to understand page views, waitlist conversion, and launch interest by world and metro. This browser-level control disables marketing analytics events from this device.
Current browser status: analytics allowed.
Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information
Social CardHouse does not sell personal information. To submit a request related to sharing, email privacy@socialcardhouse.net with the subject line "Do Not Sell or Share" and include the email you used for the pilot. We may verify the request before acting.
Limit the Use of My Sensitive Personal Information
